The company was formed in 1991 to provide computer graphics and Computer Aided Design (CAD) services.

Online Information and connectivity services were introduced in 1995, through the reselling of CompuServe Services.

Real Image was the first Swaziland Company to introduce Full Internet Access packages to the Kingdom (dating back to 1996), and maintains a group of Websites providing comprehensive information about the Kingdom.
